Perjalanan Pasti Ada Ujian

Rupanya begitu perjalanan itu...penuh ranjau duri kata orang...ketika remaja dan awal 20an ingatkan 'ada cara' boleh elak dari cabaran dan ujian...ingatkan boleh 'get away with murder' kata orang putih. Masa itu kalau rasa hendak sahaja dan usaha2 lebih sikit boleh dapat...

Bahaya kalau dapat benda agak senang ni...kalau boleh apa salahnya? Mengimbau kembali baru tahu.....macam mana pun mesti kena uji. Sudah 'set goals', pasang niat, 'tulis azam tahun baru', dan semua2 itu....kerja kuat....ada 'opportunity'....nampak macam ada hasil....dan memang dapat hasil....kursus itu, kursus ini...seminar itu, seminar ini...baca buku itu, baca buku ini...........tetapi rupanya kita akan tetap diuji....

Saya petik Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Ankabut A 2 - 3

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتۡرَكُوٓاْ أَن يَقُولُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمۡ لَا يُفۡتَنُونَ (٢
Apakah manusia menyangka bahawa mereka akan dibiarkan dengan hanya berkata: "Kami beriman," sedangkan mereka belum diuji (bagi membuktikan keimanan mereka)? (2)

وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ‌ۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبِينَ (٣
Sesungguhnya! Kami telah menguji orang-orang yang terdahulu daripada mereka, maka sesungguhnya Allah mengetahui orang yang sebenar-benarnya beriman dan Dia juga mengetahui orang yang berdusta. (3)

Dalam konteks apa yang saya bincang di atas, rupanya kita mesti BENAR- BENAR mahu...yakni mesti 'lulus' ujian2 yang dilalui...contoh jika kita mahu kereta mewah (e.g. Mercedes, BMW, etc) dan rumah banglo RM3 juta atas tapak 1 ekar dan ada 'liquid investment' RM2 juta dalam masa 3 hingga 5 atau 6 tahun....bersedialah melalui ujian2, cabaran, halangan...dan yang sewaktu dengannya.

Atau contoh mahu habis pengajian university dengan 'first class honours'....mesti bersedia lalui ujian2, cabaran2, halangan2, dan berbagai-bagai lagi...

Itu lumrah 'alam rupanya.

Ingatkan "I can get away with murder"...... "short cut"....."skim cepat kaya"..."get rich quick scheme"...

Ada caranya....step by step...

Pertama check "life values that you hold".....nilai-nilai hidup yang kita pegang sekarang...
Contoh 14 Life Values atau Nilai-nilai Kehidupan dibawah:

1. Reputation – how important is it? What would you do to create good reputation for yourself?

2. Success – success is important. But at what cost will you pursue it? How far will you go to become successful? Will you do anything? Does success to you have to do with business, finance, or personal relationships?

3. Honesty – think about your daily interactions and the part honesty plays in your dealings with yourself and others.

4. Physical Fitness – Do you think this is important? Do you do something everyday to be fit? It could be walking, or running, or taking a bike ride.

5. Personal Beauty – To you is beauty just looking pretty or is it personality also.

6. Professionalism – Do you work at being professional in your work or personal life activities. Professionalism isn’t just being good at something. It is also growing and learning as much as you can.

7. Intelligence – Do you have book smart or street smart? A combination of the two makes up intelligence. What will you do to gain intelligence? It’s not simply a matter of book or school learning. There are lessons all around us if we simply open our eyes and ears to them.

8. Power – There is personal power and position power. Do you work to achieve these? Many wealthy people care less about the dollars and more about the power that wealth brings. Think about it. What kind of power is the most important to you?

9. Money – If there ever was a value that seems to drive people, it’s money. But how much does it mean to you? Look at what you’re willing to do to get money.

10. Status – Do you care about your place on the social ladder? Or doesn’t that matter all that much to you? What if you could use status to help others? Would that make a different at what you feel about status?

11. Honor – This has often meant a great deal to military men throughout time. But how much does it mean to you? Do you work to gain the respect of others? Do you act on your values no matter what?

12. Generosity – People who are generous give not just their possessions but also their time. Is this important to you?

13. Ability To Nurture – Is taking care of somebody important to you? Many people act at their nurturing emotions on animals. Treating them much as they would another human. How do you feel about this? How does it exhibit itself in your life?

14. Personal Honor – Not everyone would know if you are honorable. But if this is important to you, you would conduct yourself honorably whether others were aware of it or not.

Ini sebenarnya yang mesti diselesaikan dulu. "Kenalilah 'diri' mu sebelum mengenali Diri-Ku"...firman Allah swt...

Bagi yang dalam umur 30an, 40an, 50an, 60an, atau pun 70an mahu pun 80an, 90an....You can still make it......let us be friends and share your experiences.

As for me I am focussing on ENGINEERING, CONSTRUCTION, and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT to work towards becoming the leading authority in Malaysia within 3 to 5 years.
